Jason Bremner

Jason Bremner founded GES Consulting to bring together the two things his career has been built on: keeping an organisation’s finances in order, and helping the people who govern it make good decisions. He is a SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) and a Registered Tax Practitioner, and holds a BCom in Accounting Sciences and a BCom (Honours) in Financial Management Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
Jason has been working with businesses and schools for a number of years. He is also a co-founder of Bremner Advisory, a cloud-based accounting and advisory practice that now serves more than 130 clients, including SMEs, trusts, NPOs and schools.
Schools are where his governance experience runs deepest. He has worked extensively with school boards and leadership teams on oversight, financial accountability and the line between the board’s role and the principal’s.
Jason works alongside principals, governing bodies and business owners — not above them — and stays on as an accountability partner until the changes take hold.
